There's so much to do here at Lusk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Marietta Campground is a nice place for that. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Lusk Lake. Lakes are tremendous; Blalock Lake is a lake that's right next door to Lusk Lake, and hiking       is a popular thing to do around Lusk Lake; Brookshire Creek Trail is a nice local trail. After a long day outdoors Homestead Inn is a great place to spend a night or two; if you have time, Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a national park worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Creek, and close to Lusk Lake you find a golf course called Bradshaw Farms Golf Course. Lusk Lake is near Blalock Lake Dam which                  is a beautiful place beyond doubt worth checking out, and if you came to camp Twin Lakes Park is a good site to do that. The warmest time of the year at Lusk Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Lusk Lake through the winter generally drop into the 20's. Not far from Lusk Lake, you'll hit upon Sellers Lake which is a charming lake; if you come at the right time of year, Marsh Creek offers some splendid whitewater.
