For the period of the summer months highs here at Lukes Pond reach the 90's while nighttime lows are generally in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lukes Pond temperatures fall to the 30's. Lukes Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Sugar Mill Recreational       Vehicle Park is a fine local campground, and Days Inn Thomasville is a wonderful place to get some rest. Lukes Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; October on the other hand is the driest. It's a magnificent idea to have a look at Bay Pole Branch, it's close to Lukes Pond, and Bannister Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Lukes Pond.                  This lake is so wonderful.
