A magnificent site to camp here at Lower Williams Lake is Hard Labor Creek State Park, and paddling on Alcovy River is so much fun. A great nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn, and one of the dominant marks of the surroundings of Lower Williams Lake is Cornish Mountain. Throughout the summer months highs here at Lower Williams Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 50's with

round of golf at nearby Indian Creek Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time. Lower Williams Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Salem Campground is a glorious local campground, as expected you could also have
a look at Cornish Creek Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Lower Williams Lake Dam; drift down the rapids of Hard Labor Creek in
a kayak. Lower Williams Lake is a pretty wet place usually with much rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is September.
