This lake is so wonderful. The Whitly Gap Trail offers hiking at its best; there's always Lower Taylor Lake Dam to go to next to Lower Taylor Lake. A quick visit to Amys Creek near Lower Taylor Lake is a delightful idea. Lakes? Sure, Hidden Valley Lake is close by. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Lower Taylor Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down       into the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and night lows during the wintertime for Lower Taylor Lake tend to be in the 20's. And if that's not enough there's loads more fun things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Taylor Lake; Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a good local trail, and Best Western Alpine Helen is a great site to get some rest. This is no place for people who don’t like                  to have fun. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Helen is a tremendous choice, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mud Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Creek Grove Nudist is a good campground nearby, and golf can be played at Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more fun things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's perfect hiking along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail; Lower Taylor Lake is a place with many visitors from Cornelia. Allen Lake is a great lake in close proximity to Lower Taylor Lake. Stay the night at Serendipity Park Nudist Resort, and whitewater paddling is great on Chattahoochee River. Lower Taylor Lake frequently gets much rainfall; during the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is usually the driest month.
