    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Georgia you can check out Lower Pollards Lake. All through the months of summer here at Lower Pollards Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 50's with temperatures at Lower Pollards Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Very nice water scenery is available at Lower Pollards Lake Dam near Lower Pollards Lake,  
   and Mistletoe State Park is a magnificent campground nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Hamilton Branch Campground is a tremendous place to camp, and there are plenty of folks from Augusta-Richmond County here at Lower Pollards Lake.
Lower Pollards Lake generally gets a lot of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend
 
               Savannah River; Americas Best Inns-Augusta Grovetown is a fine place to get some rest. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Horn Creek Hiking Trail.
Just can't get enough of Lower Pollards Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Pollards Lake; Turkey Creek Hiking Trail is a delightful local trail; if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn AUGUSTA WEST I-20 is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are some fine whitewater spots on Stevens Creek, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Greenbrier Creek.
