Looper Lake is a lake worth visiting. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A brilliant close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites, and the scenery at Looper Lake Dam is lovely. Looper Lake is a place with many visitors from Gainesville; don't forget to take a nice little visit to Lott Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The Brookshire Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, unsurprisingly you could also go to Partial Lake since you're here; it's not far

| | at all. Jameson Inn Oakwood is a splendid spot to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is good on Little River - East Fork. Looper Lake typically gets much rain; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is June. Camping at Old Federal Campground is always a glorious experience, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Settingdown Creek. While you're here at | |

Looper Lake you can play some golf at Reunion Golf Club, and Looper Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Lanier Lodges is a great local campground. Throughout the long summer days at Looper Lake temperatures are
mostly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Looper Lake dip into the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and Looper Lake is not the only place close by, Looper Lake Dam is a close by lake.
