Looney Lake ordinarily       gets a large amount of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is usually the driest month. If you're stopping by Looney Lake from Rome, you won't be the only one; there's whitewater on Johnnies Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Hall Valley is a tremendous place to spend some time at, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn/Rome. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not                  explore Bakers Pond next to Looney Lake, and Lad Marina and Campground is a splendid local campground. Looney Lake is near Game Farm Pond Dam which is a lovely place unquestionably worth taking a look at, and you can run the rapids of Bear Creek. Summertime highs at Looney Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's.
