Long Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Trail's End Resort and Marina is a splendid local campground; a trip to close by Buck Hole is very relaxing. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Shores Lake, and camping at Seminole State Park is always a delightful       experience. At Long Lake through the warm months highs are in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Long Lake. After a long day outdoors The Cove at Trails End is a nice spot to spend a night or two.
