A wonderful spot to camp here at Long Lake is Traders Hill Recreation Area, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites is a great choice. The high level of precipitation makes Long Lake a rather wet spot; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. If you want a tremendous time       in the great outdoors, just come on down to Long Lake. Camping is available at Okefenokee Pastimes; going for a hike on the Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful swamp right next door to Long Lake is Chase Prairie; Big Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
