Lakes are great; Sometime Hole is a lake that's near Long Lake, and Long Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Okefenokee Pastimes is a good place to camp nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Long Lake. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Chase Prairie is right nearby, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail.       Throughout the warm days of summer at Long Lake highs are commonly in the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 70's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 60's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Long Lake fall into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Big Lake, and the Indian Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby.
