Be careful coming to Long Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. There are plenty of people from Thomasville here at Long Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Thomasville. This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble       on a delightful lake called Alico Company Lake near Long Lake, and camping at Wiregrass Trail Campground is always a magnificent experience. Do pop by Jackson Lake in the neighborhood of Long Lake, it's a pretty lake; if you came to camp Country Lakes Resort is a splendid place to do that. Long Lake is a pretty wet place mostly with a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other                  hand is the driest. Throughout the summer at Long Lake highs are typically in the 90's, and the night is a bit cooler of course, mostly in the 70's.
