So many exciting things to do at Pond Lombard, so little time. At Pond Lombard you always meet someone from Augusta-Richmond County, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Savannah River. High temperatures at Pond Lombard all through the long summer days are in the 90's. Once the sun is       down it falls down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Pond Lombard temperatures fall to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Fox Hollow Camp Ground is a perfect spot to do that; Pond Lombard is not the only site close by, Wilkinsons Pond is a close by lake. There's so much to do here at Pond Lombard that you need to camp here for a while, Flynn's Inn Camping Village                  is a good site for that, and dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Gordon Hwy. Pond Lombard is a rather wet place typically with a great deal of rainfall; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is November.
