After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Tifton is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and The Pines Campground is a delightful local campground. A splendid close by hotel is Super 8 Tifton; Bryan Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Why not camp at Agrirama RV Park if you're here at Log Lake, and if you're here, you could also stop by beautiful Dark Lake. Log Lake gets a good deal of water; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest of

| | the months is October. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. You're sure to bump into some cheerful folks from Fitzgerald here. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Log Lake, you could take a look at Big Creek; why not stop by McDaniel Lake Dam if you're here. For the duration of the summer months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Log Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Log Lake temperatures dip to the 30's.
