At Log Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures       plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Log Lake. Lots of rain falls at Log Lake; through August this area sees the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail, and camping at Traders Hill Recreation Area is always a magnificent experience. Take a hike on the Indian Trail;                  camping is available at Okefenokee Pastimes.
