Tark Hill Pond is a lake in the vicinity, and a nice nearby hotel is Red Carpet Inn Dublin. Summertime highs at Lake Lloyd typically tend to be in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Lake Lloyd through the winter usually dip into the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Lloyd a       wet location; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest.
