Alden Motel is a great location to get some rest, and lots of folks from Cedartown come here. Dry warm beds await you at Hometown Lodge, and whitewater paddling is great on Snake River. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Little Tallapoosa Lake commonly gets a lot of rainfall; through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is frequently the driest month. This lake       is so wonderful. Do go to Abee Lake near Little Tallapoosa Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and get wet paddling on Mobley Creek. If you came for an overnight stay The Rock Camp Ground is a splendid place to camp, and why not visit close by Allen Creek if you're here at Little Tallapoosa Lake. All through the summer months here at Little Tallapoosa Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down                  into the 60's.
