It appears the only way to get a boat in there is to find a friendly neighbor who lives on the lake that is willing to allow you to access it. The lake was impounded in 1963 by the U.S. Soil Conservation Service for the purpose of flood control and to act as a drinking water reservoir for the City of Carrollton.     Full pool is at 1030 ft. and flood stage is at 1038 ft.
