This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Jenny's Creek Campground is always a great experience, and float down the rapids of Chestatee River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Lewis Lake, you can go for       a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail; there are plenty of people from Gainesville here at Lewis Lake. A good nearby hotel is Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Helan, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Twin Lakes. All through the months of summer highs here at Lewis Lake get into the 80's with night lows in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Lewis Lake during the winter ordinarily plunge into the                  20's. All year is a wonderful time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you fancy the outdoors.
