A visit to Lewis Lake is always a good idea. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Near Lewis Lake you hit upon the Raven Cliff Falls Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and Lewis Lake is not far at all from Gainesville. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Lewis Lake, so little time. A quick tour to Glade Branch close to Lewis Lake is a delightful idea, and a splendid spot to camp here at Lewis Lake is Jenny's Creek Campground. For the duration of the

| | summertime months at Lewis Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lewis Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.

Lewis Lake mostly gets a lot of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is October. Near Lewis Lake you find a golf course called Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club, and after a long day outdoors

You don’t have to go far from Lewis Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Twin Lakes East Dam, and the Whitly Gap Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake

while you're here at Lewis Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a splendid adventure, and paddling on Chestatee River is so much fun. Lewis Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
