Many people like to go to Le Tourneau Lake. Le Tourneau Lake is not far at all from Toccoa, and the Chattooga Trail offers hiking at its best. The high level of precipitation makes Le Tourneau Lake a quite wet location; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Panther Creek Campground is a great spot to camp, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bartram Trail. Some close by water includes Little Toccoa Creek, and Toccoa City Golf Course is a golf course nearby.

year, Brasstown Creek offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Toccoa Days Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we
recommend Big Panther Creek. Summertime at Le Tourneau Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is a little colder of course, typically in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Le Tourneau Lake.
