Le Tourneau Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Terrora Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and an afternoon playing golf at Toccoa City Golf Course is always a pleasure. During the summertime highs here at Le Tourneau Lake reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the       20's to Le Tourneau Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Le Tourneau Lake is not the only place nearby, Stonecypher Lake is a nearby lake, and if you're stopping by from Toccoa, you won't be the only one. Why not stop at Le Tourneau Lake Dam while you're here; splendid hiking is available along the Bartram Trail. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Big Panther Creek, and if you need a place to stay Knights Inn Toccoa is a good choice. Little Toccoa Creek                  flows through this region, and a lake nearby is Lake Louise. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Chattooga Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Toccoa Days Inn. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Le Tourneau Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Brasstown Creek, and Toccoa Rv Park & Campground is a pleasant campground nearby.
