The beauty of Lassiter Lake is reason enough to stop by. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the neighborhood of Lassiter Lake. Camping is available at Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area, and of course Beaverdam Creek flows through this neighborhood. Good hiking is available along the Town Creek Bike Trail; paddling on Rose Creek is so much fun.

| | Sure, Parker Lake is just a very short distance away. Soar down the rapids of Apalachee River in a kayak, and at Lassiter Lake you always meet someone from Athens-Clarke County. Do go to Lassiter Lake Dam since you're here at Lassiter Lake, as expected you could also stop at Lick Skillet Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.

is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Through the summer here at Lassiter Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally
in the 50's; overnight lows in the 30's for Lassiter Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's perfect hiking along the Scull Shoals Trail, and camping at North Shore Resort is always a glorious experience.
Lassiter Lake sees pretty
high levels of rainfall; all through March this area sees the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture.
