Throughout the warmest time of the year at Lake Wildwood highs are regularly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Lake Wildwood dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Take a hike on the Mounds Trail, and Pine Lake RV Campground is a good campground nearby. So much       exciting stuff near Lake Wildwood, just striking. Have a good hiking adventure along the Falling Camp Trail, and Lane Creek Golf Club is a golf course nearby. There are other spots here than Lake Wildwood, for example Bells Lake; if you need a spot to stay Microtel Inn Athens is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Bells Lake Dam near Lake Wildwood is lovely, and obviously Lampkin Branch is a scenic stream that is worth a visit. All                  the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Wildwood a wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and September is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Athens-Clarke County come to Lake Wildwood, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rose Creek. Not far from Lake Wildwood, you'll find Christian Lake which is a stunning lake, and you can stay the night at Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area.
