Highs through the winter are typically in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Lake Trahlyta through the winter mostly drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for       a hike along the Chattahoochee Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and paddling on Helton Creek is so much fun. This spot is great, just look at all the exciting things to do next to Lake Trahlyta. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Milton Inn, and some of the water nearby flows, like Burnett Branch. Lake Trahlyta gets a large amount of water; through March this area sees the most rain; October is when it's the driest.                  Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Take a hike on the Coosa Backcountry Trail; Levelland Cove is reasonably close. This lake is so wonderful. Cindy Cove is a charming spot any time of year, also Lake Trahlyta Dam is worth visiting while you're here. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Trahlyta has to offer, you can camp at Vogel State Park, and Ben Knob is uncomplicated to spot from Lake Trahlyta. A spree to Lake Trahlyta wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Helton Creek Falls, and hiking along the DeSoto Falls Trail is good fun. Lakes are such calm locations, why not explore Dollar Lake near Lake Trahlyta, and get covered with water paddling on Blood Mountain Creek.
