Lakes are great; Smith Lake is a lake that's near Lake Tonawanda, and the views at Ocmulgee National Monument will blow your mind. If you need a place to stay Ramada Plaza Hotel Macon is a nice choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park is a splendid spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Dry Bone Creek, and you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Lake       Tonowanda is one of those nearby. Summer at Lake Tonawanda comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lake Tonawanda sink into the 30's. Lake Tonawanda usually gets lots of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.                  Why not pop by Lake Tonowanda Dam while you're here; you'll probably meet some people from Macon here.
