Lake Tara is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Whitewater paddling is good on Chattahoochee River; after a long day outdoors Savannah Suites Jonesboro is a nice spot to spend a night or two. Lake Tara is a pretty wet place commonly with a large amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. next to Lake Tara; get drenched paddling on Line Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Scottish Inns Jonesboro is a good choice, and if you're visiting from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, you won't
be the only one. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. A great spot to camp here at Lake Tara is Camp Truitt-fulton, and if you've had enough of Lake Tara, Richmond Pond is nearby.
