Lake Starling is a lake worth visiting. The nice people of Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta like to hang out close by, and Lake Starling is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Atlanta West Campgrounds is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Baymont Inn Atlanta West is a perfect choice, and float down the rapids of Sweetwater Creek in a kayak. A journey to Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is recommended,

| | and Sleep Inn At Six Flags is a great spot to get some rest.
If you came to camp Arrowhead Campground is a glorious site to do that, and Lake Starling Dam is a beautiful spot, positively worth stopping at. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Lake Starling. If you come at the right time of year, Chattahoochee River offers some good whitewater, and a lake close by is Kings Lake.

are in the 80's at Lake Starling. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Starling. Lake Starling ordinarily
gets a lot of precipitation; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; September on the other hand is the driest.
