There's so much to do here at Lake Somerset that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Pines Camp Ground is a fine place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Very pleasant water scenery is available at Lindsey Creek Dam close to Lake Somerset, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Columbus. Mulberry Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you need a spot to stay Comfort Suites Columbus is a tremendous choice. has to offer, you can camp at Anthony's Mobile Park. For the duration of the summer months at Lake Somerset highs are mostly in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Somerset temperatures descend to the 30's.
