Mobley Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and an interesting thing to stop at close to Lake Romona is Lake Romona Dam. Lake Romona regularly gets a good deal of precipitation; during March this area sees the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Romona. If you don’t have a problem       getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tanyard Branch; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Hiram, Ga, and there are other sites here than Lake Romona, for example Williams Lake. During the summer months here at Lake Romona, high temperatures generally get into the 80's; the nighttime                  is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Lake Romona. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Romona you can play some golf at Creekside Golf & Country Club; Hatcher Lake East is a good lake nearby. If you need a location to stay Sleep Inn & Suites Hiram is a fine choice, and why not explore close by Davis Mill Creek if you're here at Lake Romona.
