Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Lake Pless tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Serendipity Park Nudist Resort is a nice local campground, and the Whitly Gap Trail offers hiking at its best. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Cleveland is a tremendous       place to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and you'll stumble on a pretty lake called Pless Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Union Grove Campground is a nice spot to camp, and Gerrell Mountain is clearly visible from Lake Pless.                  But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Lake Pless. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Chattahoochee River; glorious water scenery is available at Lake Pless Dam right next door to Lake Pless. You definitely must love the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Helen, and since you're here, you could also pop by beautiful Garner Pond. Lake Pless ordinarily gets a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls through March, and the driest of the months is October. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
