Chattahoochee River is a glorious whitewater spot right next door to Lake Pines. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Bull Creek Golf Course, and Lake Pines is brilliant enough to spend       more than a day at, Anthony's Mobile Park is a brilliant local campground. Not far from Lake Pines, you'll find Thornton Lake which is a beautiful lake; Courtyard Columbus is a pleasant location to get some rest. Through the summertime at Lake Pines highs are usually in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake Pines. Yeah, come here to Lake Pines for a                  brilliant time. Lake Pines is a site with many visitors from Columbus; an interesting thing to have a look at near Lake Pines is Thornton Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes?
