There are some great whitewater spots on Yellow River, and if you need a spot to stay Wingate by Wyndham - Atlanta Buford is a perfect choice. Through the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Lake Perrin. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Perrin. Stay the night at Lawrenceville       Campground, and glorious water scenery is available at Watershed Y17 Dam in close proximity to Lake Perrin. Good hiking is available along the Brookshire Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Perrin that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Lanier Island Campground is a splendid site for that. Lake Perrin is a quite wet place regularly with a large amount of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while June                  is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You could also take a look at Watershed Y17 Lake since you're here at Lake Perrin; it's nearby, and Lake Perrin is not far at all from Gainesville. This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Lake Perrin. Don't miss out on a spree to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area since you're here at Lake Perrin, and after a long day outdoors Country Inns And Suites Buford is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two.
