Camping at Lake Palmyra is splendid fun, Camp Truitt-fulton is a splendid local campground, and Wellesley Inn - Atlanta Airport is a pleasant site to get some rest. A trip to Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is worthwhile; soar down the rapids of Chattahoochee River in a kayak.
