Some of the water nearby flows, like Roaring Branch, naturally you could also visit Clap Hill Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Oliver a reasonably wet place; July                  is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.
