After a long day outdoors Locust Grove Atlanta Red Roof Inn is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; camping is available at Mount Bethel Campground. You don’t have to go far from Lake Ola to catch a glimpse of the water at Lake Ola Dam; Georgia National Golf Club is a golf course close by. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Lake Ola. Do have a look at Lake Dow in the neighborhood of Lake Ola, it's a pretty lake, and

Lake Ola gets lots of water; March is when you get the most rain here while September is ordinarily the driest month. High temperatures at Lake Ola during the summertime are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Lake Ola. A great place to camp here at Lake Ola is New Hope Campground; | |

whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Yellow River. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson McDonough is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Ola,
you could also visit scenic Boyds Lake, and if you have time to spare, Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a national park worth checking out.

Beyond the park is unknown territory....Yellow river at Poterdale can get pretty tough after a good rain.
