This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Niskey Lake is in close proximity to Lake Niskey, and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a splendid local destination. For the duration of the days of summer at Lake Niskey temperatures are usually in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down       to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Niskey. The wonderful people of Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta like to hang out close by, and an afternoon playing golf at Wolf Creek Golf Course is always a bliss. This is a glorious region for folks who like lakes. High Loch is a lake close at hand, and Sweetwater Creek is a good whitewater spot close by. Lake Niskey sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls throughout March,                  and the driest month is September. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Lake Niskey rocks! If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattahoochee River, and why not camp at Arrowhead Campground since you're here at Lake Niskey. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Wingate by Wyndham Atlanta/Six Flags Austell is a good choice.
