This is a brilliant area for people who like lakes. Cherry Lake is a lake in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Neva has to offer, you can camp at River Park RV Park, and Valdosta-Days Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest. Tillman Lake Dam is a place that is near Lake Neva, and the fine folks of Valdosta like to hang out nearby.       Lake Neva is a good location to visit for more than one day, Shady Oaks Campground is a good location to camp nearby, and if you need a spot to stay Hawthorn Suites Valdosta is a magnificent choice. Lake Neva is a relatively wet place typically with a great deal of rain; through the month of July you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Lake Neva frequently tend to be in the 90's with                  nighttime lows in the 60's.
