Lake Myrtle typically gets much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March while October is usually the driest month. Lakes are such serene places, why not check out Shope Lake in close proximity to Lake Myrtle, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn Calhoun. Jacks Creek is a stream that you may stumble       upon while you're here, and there are plenty of folks from Calhoun here at Lake Myrtle. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do close to Lake Myrtle. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Log Campground is a brilliant site to camp; Young-Wright Lake is a wonderful lake close by. At Lake Myrtle during the days of summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the                  20's for Lake Myrtle. Family Leisure Resort is a delightful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
