Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact abundant here at Lake Mimosa. Camping is available at The Rock Camp Ground. Through the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Lake Mimosa. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Mimosa temperatures descend to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.       There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Snake River; you'll come across a beautiful lake called Lake Connie. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Mimosa a wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is mostly the driest month. After a long day outdoors Hometown Lodge is a delightful spot to spend a night or two; naturally Dixon Mill Creek flows through this neighborhood. Lake Connie Dam is lovely                  and it's near Lake Mimosa, and if you need a spot to stay Fairfield Plantation is a good choice.
