Any time is a splendid time at Lake Maude if you adore the outdoors. Lake Maude is nice enough to spend more than a day at, High Falls Campground is a nice local campground, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Hickory Ridge Golf Club. Lake Maude ordinarily gets much precipitation; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest. This       lake is so wonderful. Thomaston-Days Inn is a perfect place to get some rest, and at Lake Maude you always meet someone from Thomaston. At Lake Maude throughout the summer highs are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Lake Maude. There's whitewater on Lazer Creek for all you thrill seekers; if you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Thomaston is a                  splendid choice. Bickley Lake is a brilliant lake near Lake Maude, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Potato Creek. There's always Lake Maude Dam to take a look at in the vicinity of Lake Maude.
