This lake is so wonderful. Lake Kathy is great enough to spend more than a day at, Ringgold Koa Kampground is a great local campground, and camping at Cedar Creek Mobile Home Park is always a fine experience. If you need a place to stay Best Western Inn Of Dalton is a good choice, and Harris       Gap is definitely a fine place to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Huckleberry Pond close to Lake Kathy, it's a lovely lake; a nice nearby hotel is Super 8 Dalton/Convention Center Area. A round of golf at nearby Tunnel Hill Golf Club is a perfect way to kill some time; Lake Kathy Dam is a scenic place. Lake Kathy sees pretty high levels of rain; March is when you get the most rain here, and October is the month with the least moisture.                  There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Lake Kathy. Blue Hole is not far from Lake Kathy at all; if you're here, you could also visit picturesque Cook Lake. High temperatures at Lake Kathy through the summertime months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's.
