Lake Irvin truly is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Nancy Town River; hiking along the Chattooga Trail is wonderful fun. For the period of the summertime here at Lake Irvin, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and the night is rather       chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Irvin. If you need a place to stay Best Western Cornelia Inn is a good choice, and you'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Nems Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Irvin is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Hazel Creek RV Park is a splendid local campground, and lots of people                  from Cornelia come here. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Irvin is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October. A picturesque lake like Penick Pond next to Lake Irvin is a magnificent location to stop by; if you're here you can play some golf at Apple Mountain Golf Club.
