Sure, Updegrove Lake is close to Lake Geneva, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Cedar Creek. The high level of rain makes Lake Geneva a quite wet location; the month with most of the rain is March, and August is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to stumble upon some wonderful folks from Rome here, and a magnificent site to camp here at Lake Geneva is Morrison       Campground. If you're here at Lake Geneva, you could visit Armuchee Creek, and camping is available at Rome-floyd County Recreation. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Lake Geneva. Stonebridge Golf Club is a brilliant golf course close by, and unsurprisingly, this is a great vicinity for people who like lakes, Moondrop Lake is a lake close by. Through the long summer days at Lake Geneva highs are typically in the 80's. For the                  period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Geneva temperatures sink to the 20's. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Rome Downtown, and some interesting geology is available here, Jones Bend is right here.
