There's whitewater on Chattahoochee River for all you adrenaline junkies, and as expected, this is a glorious region for folks who like lakes, Lake Chaplin is a lake in the vicinity. You're possibly interested in lakes, Lake Mary is one of those nearby; after a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Columbus is a splendid location to spend a night or two. Lake Forest gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is July, and October is the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Lake Forest. Once the sun is down it
dips down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Lake Forest dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
