There's always Lake Dorene Dam to go to next to Lake Dorene, and a tremendous close by hotel is Garden Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Big Cedar Creek; White Bottom is a good place here at Lake Dorene. Lake Dorene is a wet place that gets much rain; the month of March is the wettest       with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do next to Lake Dorene. While you're here at Lake Dorene, you could also stop by scenic Dorene Lake, and camping is available at The Rock Camp Ground. Morgan Valley is near Lake Dorene and is a delightful place, and some nearby water includes Hutchings Creek.
