Be careful coming to Lake Dorene, you might not ever want to go home again. Camping is available at The Rock Camp Ground; you can take a little spree to Lake Dorene Dam since you're here at Lake Dorene. High temperatures at Lake Dorene all through the summertime months are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and during the dark       hours in the winter at Lake Dorene temperatures dip to the 30's. Lake Dorene sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here while October is generally the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Rockmart Day Inn; there are plenty of folks from Cedartown here. This lake is so wonderful. Crawford Lake is a great lake close to Lake Dorene, and why not camp at Morrison Campground while you're here at Lake Dorene. There are                  other spots here than Lake Dorene, for example Dorene Lake; Econo Lodge Rockmart is a brilliant place to get some rest. Don’t forget to have a look at White Bottom while you're here at Lake Dorene, and why not take a little journey to Hutchings Creek since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Big Cedar Creek offers some fine whitewater.
