Lake David is a wet place that       gets a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake David has to offer, you can camp at Papillon Resort and RV Campground, and Lake David is not the only site nearby, Josephs Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake David that you need to camp here for a while, Flat Rock                  Campground is a tremendous spot for that, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express CARROLLTON is a good choice. During the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Lake David. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's.
