Lake Pines Camp Ground is a nice campground nearby; the scenery at Flat Rock Lake Dam is picturesque. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Lake Crystal during the months of summer are in the 90's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, typically in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 50's; overnight       lows in the 30's for Lake Crystal. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Columbus; don't forget to take a nice little journey to Cooper Branch. If only every site had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great planet it would be. Stay the night at Anthony's Mobile Park, and a round of golf at nearby Bull Creek Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mulberry Creek;                  do take a look at Lake Arrowhead, it's a pretty lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Crystal a wet site; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
