This lake is so wonderful. Gibson Lake is a glorious lake in close proximity to Lake Coweta; you can take a little tour to Lake Coweta Dam if you're here at Lake Coweta. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Wolf Creek, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks       from LaGrange for sure. Lake Coweta is a pretty wet place typically with a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March; October is when it's the driest. Orchard Hills Golf Club is a fine golf course close by, and swing by Browns Creek it's a nice place to pop by. If you came to camp South Oaks Manufactured Home is a great site to do that, and there are other places here than Lake Coweta, for example Lake Coweta. This lake is so                  wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Shenandoah Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and camping at Papillon Resort and RV Campground is always a perfect experience. Summertime highs at Lake Coweta typically tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
