Lake Carol is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Stay the night at Camp Truitt-fulton; since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta. Through the long summer days at Lake Carol highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Carol. This lake is so wonderful.

You can take a little tour to Upper Cowart Lake Dam while you're here at Lake Carol; if you need a site to stay Courtyard Atlanta Airport West is a splendid choice. Lake Carol is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain;
the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is September. There's so much to do here at Lake Carol that you need to camp here for a while, Arrowhead Campground is a good location for that, and while you're here, you could also pop by lovely City of East Point Reservoir.
