Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the vicinity of Lake Camlon. You can run the rapids of Line Creek close to Lake Camlon, and South Oaks Manufactured Home is a fine local campground. Lake Camlon is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Papillon Resort and RV Campground is a magnificent place       to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You could also explore Nelms Lakes while you're here at Lake Camlon; it's nearby, and Ramada Newnan is a magnificent location to get some rest. Lake Camlon is not the only place close by, Lake Amlajack is a close by lake, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Newnan is a great place to spend a night or two. A round of golf at nearby Summergrove Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time; Lake Amlajack Dam                  is a picturesque location. High temperatures at Lake Camlon through the summertime months are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lake Camlon are in the 20's.
