This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are magnificent sites to stop by, and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. It's a splendid idea to pop by Utoy Creek, it's near Lake Ca Reca, and the scenery at Lake Starling Dam is wonderful. You feel that's enough?       Just getting warmed up. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Wolf Creek Golf Course is nearby; if you came for an overnight stay Sweetwater Creek State Park is a splendid spot to camp. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Lake Ca Reca reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Lake Ca Reca night low temperatures through the winter are                  in the 20's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Chattahoochee River, and camping is available at Arrowhead Campground.
