It's always fun to stop by Lake Bulow Campbell. A great nearby hotel is Quality Inn Covington; whitewater paddling is great on Alcovy River. Lake Bulow Campbell is a pretty wet place generally with a great deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout March; September is the month with the least moisture. Lake is a lake that's right next door to Lake Bulow Campbell. There's so much to do here at Lake Bulow Campbell that you need to camp here for a while, Sardis Campground is a tremendous place for that. Bert Adams Dam is a place
that is close to Lake Bulow Campbell. Through the days of summer highs here at Lake Bulow Campbell get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lake Bulow Campbell are in the 30's.

 | Putting in at Killian Hill Rd , the best white water is just down river from HWY 78 to the Yellow River Park. Beyond the park is unknown territory....Yellow river at Poterdale can get pretty tough after a good rain. Bring your A game!...water from 124 to porterdale is about 3 feet average in the summertime. lots of fun. easy river. clean too. lots of fallen trees in the water, great wildlife, snakes, turtles and fish. the dam in porterdale is easily passed adn the rapids following are verry shallow. email at coadydraven@yahoo.com with questions.... |
