Treadwell Lake is a delightful lake in the neighborhood of Lake Bulow Campbell, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Ocmulgee River Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Bulow Campbell, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Lake Bulow Campbell. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Covington; whitewater paddling is good on South River. | | Dam has good water scenery and it's close to Lake Bulow Campbell, and if you came to camp Mount Bethel Campground is a delightful location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Covington is a good choice, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Kinnard Horse Trail. So much exciting stuff right next door to Lake Bulow Campbell, simply unbelievable. There's so much to do here at Lake Bulow Campbell | |

that you need to camp here for a while, Sardis Campground is a great place for that, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Alcovy River. A delightful lake like Bailey Lake
close to Lake Bulow Campbell is a brilliant site to check out. Lake Bulow Campbell generally gets a great deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

 | Putting in at Killian Hill Rd , the best white water is just down river from HWY 78 to the Yellow River Park. Beyond the park is unknown territory....Yellow river at Poterdale can get pretty tough after a good rain. Bring your A game!...water from 124 to porterdale is about 3 feet average in the summertime. lots of fun. easy river. clean too. lots of fallen trees in the water, great wildlife, snakes, turtles and fish. the dam in porterdale is easily passed adn the rapids following are verry shallow. email at coadydraven@yahoo.com with questions.... |
