Lake Bennett is a nice lake to visit. Get dripping wet paddling on Sweetwater Creek, and camping at Lake Bennett is good fun, Camp Truitt-fulton is a good local campground. People from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta love to come to Lake Bennett. Lake Bennett Dam is not far at all from Lake Bennett, and if you have time, Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a national park worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful.
