Beautiful Lake Aumond has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Value Place Noland, and next to Lake Aumond you find a golf course called Forest Hills Golf Club. After a long day outdoors Savannah Suites Augusta is a good site to spend a night or two, and some close by water includes Cranes Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There are some fine whitewater spots on Stevens Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Horn

There's always Lake Aumond Dam to pop by right next door to Lake Aumond, and do take a hike on the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail. Lake Aumond generally gets a good deal of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain while November is commonly the driest month. So much fun stuff to do at Lake Aumond, so little time. If you come at the right time of year, Savannah River offers some great whitewater, and lakes are such calm sites, | |

why not explore Stewarts Ponds.
There are other sites here than Lake Aumond, for example Rosedale Pond, and Heritage Mobile Home Community is a fine campground nearby. Summertime highs at Lake Aumond generally tend to be in the
90's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, usually in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Lake Aumond during the winter commonly descend into the 30's.
You'll meet a
lot of folks from Augusta-Richmond County here, and Lake Aumond is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Flynn's Inn Camping Village is a delightful place to camp nearby.
